Snort

Ugh. I came down with a cold while in Boston this week for a conference. I was there to present some recent research. I drew the coveted 8:30 A.M. SATURDAY MORNING slot. The conference ran from Thursday through Saturday and I came down with a cold Friday night. I'm still doped up and sleepy, but feeling a lot better after some long, long naps. I did get a chance to try some great food while in Boston. I had pasta with wild boar bolongese and this excellent coda di langostino from Mike's Bakery, an institution in North Boston. It feels great to get this presentation out of the way, too. It was well received and all that is left is to format it properly for publication. I am looking forward to a relaxing Thanksgiving week at work and a fun time with my family in Kansas City on Thanksgiving weekend. Boston looked like a great town. I didn't get to do as much site seeing as I would have liked, but I definitely want to go back.
