People Who Write to Romance Columnists Are Morons, Romance Columnist Says

Daniel Jones is the editor of the New York Times "Modern Love" column. If you have written in for advice, she has something to say to you: You're an idiot. Despite repeated romantic failures, you never learn and your questions are contemptible.

Now, I totally agree, particularly in light of some of the gems she lists here. Then again, I'm not in the advice business. If I were, I might be thankful for the letters keeping me in business and wish not to desparage those who write them. When you work for the NYT, though, demeaning the rest of the country is just part of the fun! Happy Valentines Day!
