I don't want Bear Grylls to think my obsession with his show is failing, but I am now splitting my attention between Man vs. Wild and Francesco de Mosto's Travel Channel show, "Italy Top to Toe." I love that it is not just a typical travel guide advising viewers to stay here, eat there, and buy that. It picks a few random places, the stories of which help illuminate the Italian ethos, but makes no attempt to be comprehensive. It is less of an education and more of an appreciation. Well done Conte de Mosto! Never fear, though, Bear Grylls is back with three episodes Friday night.

Today On The Teevee
