Tregatti. It is in the url. It is Italian. It means three cats. So I think it is about time you meet them. The lovely S and I are caregivers to three wonderful cats with amazing personalities. Halle is the oldest at about seven and a half years old. I adopted her at the same time as Cosmo, who is about five and a half. We just stumbled across Lucky (one year old) a year ago when he was a tiny kitten. I will expand on their personalities and antics in future posts, but for today let me introduce you to Halle.
Halle is a brown, black, and blond tortoise shell domestic short hair. She has a very thick and heavy coat of fur which she loves to have brushed when she is in the mood. We save the fur we comb out in hopes of someday spinning it into yarn or stuffing a pillow. Halle was saved by a feline rescue group which found her in a Wal-Mart parking lot on the eastern shore of maryland. As is true in most cases, life improved immeasurably for Halle after she was relocated to The Old Dominion. I found her at a Petsmart in Alexandria, VA and took her home to live happily ever after. Or at least until Lucky arrived to terrorize her. She likes to eat sardines in tomato sauce and lay on Daddy's chest while he reads the morning paper. Her favorite toy is dental floss (its never an actual toy, is it?). She's a sweety and here is a pic.
