Safeway Sucks

The NY Times food section had an interesting article today about how much business traditional supermarkets have been loosing recently. Old school stores seem to think people are going to Whole Foods, Trader Joes, et al because of fancy gimmicks and tech bells and whistles. I certainly can't get lots of healthy organic stuff at Safeway, but that's far from the only problem. I would defintely spend a lot more time and money at my loacl Safeway if they would HIRE SOMEBODY COMPETENT! Every time I go in there is a line backed up to the other side of the store and ONE checker open. Figure it out guys. A little customer service might help.
