But wait, there's more! Thursday we drove to Annapolis for a quick daytrip. S had never been to Annapolis before. Aside from the obvious fact that it is in Maryland and the surprise they spring on you that there is NO WHERE TO PARK, it is a beautiful little town. We roamed around, checked out the Naval Academy, and sailed on a schooner. We learned that a schooner is not a sloop because it has two masts, not one, and is not a clipper because the front mast is the short one and the middle one is the main. Now I'm hooked and want to learn to sail!
As you can see, this sailing business is hard work.
