No, I haven't posted for a while, but there is a good reason: I have been out of the country for a week and a half. The Lovely S and I were in Taiwan to visit her family for the holidays, and then spent a few days traveling to Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzen, and Guilin in China. Oh, does it feel good to be back home! I think this China trip may be my last to a third world country. The country and the people certainly made a strong impression and the experience was very exciting. The toilets, not so much. I think drinkable tap water and a Four Seasons may be my new requirements for vacations. I have a whole list of tales to tell from this trip, so stay tuned. For now, some sleep and some proof that I've been gone:
